A big question needs to be asked why is crimes taking place at El Paso city hall are not being prosecuted. The latest one being the theft of El Paso PD report on Claudia Ordaz and Vince Perez. A city official leak this police report to blogger Martin Paredes. Martin had asked the city and county for this report but the city and county were unresponsive. Then there was a city official who went around the process set forth by law and leak the report. First this official committed a criminal act by using their office to do so. Then just possessing government documents gained unlawfully is also a crime. Why is there not an investigation to how the report came into Martin Paredes possession. Also this shows the El Paso PD's documents and reports are not secure as they should be but seems most in El Paso and media are missing this fact. Seems some special interest at the city do not have to follow the law when accessing EL Paso PD records. This is not the first crime in the last year that took place at the city and no one was prosecuted. There was the break in of Nilands office and an attempt to break in to a computer or computers in said office by an Ordaz staffer. The staff was fired but never prosecuted to what was clearly a crime. Why! Seems once again crime is being allowed down at city hall and no one is being held accountable. This is very worrying since if this was done by an average citizen in El Paso, out in the real world, the full measure and weight of the law would be brought to bear. Why the special treatment for some elites at the city that seem to be above the law which applies to the rest of us? flash
