HAH! They won't recognize him! actually, was trying to show them the old Thriller the other day, but the younger ones started to freak out a little Lord of the Rings my boys could watch. Looking at fake zombies dance? It spooked them. Kids! Although, I seem to remember being a bit spooked by Thriller myself (or maybe it was just Michael Jackson).

OK Candy mountain was funny - but it would have been even better if you had shared it after Beto's resolution had produced legalization!

okay, husband saw the thread and commented that "the best Styx song" isn't on it, so this one's for him with some dubious forethought from me, because I've heard the stories and seen the pictures

Boy look what I started with giving the wrong Lyrics. I really wasn't thinking os Styx who I don't remember listening to much, I am just bad with Lyrics. Now I am going to have to google Kansas and find the other songs I really liked.

I love that song, and so do my kids here's another one of my favorites...when I was a kid, I thought it was about a priest, for some odd reason. Then later, I learned they had Einstein in mind and I thought, "well, okay, that works too"

This was really one hell of a group, from their music, to the poetry...

Okay this one starts with the best electric guitar riff ever (what can I say, I grew up in the 80s ). Caution: this version has all its original lyrics.

When MTV was launched in 8/81 I was On my way to the Phillipines. I did not return to the States (except for 20 days) until October 1985 and don't remember getting Cable until around 1986 so by the time I discovered MTV it was old news but new to me
