no, that's not non-partisan, because it assumes the left did take the "anything goes" , that they're "better" hedonists prove it what I meant when I said: "Web sees what Web sees" was that you saw the partisan more than I did....once you pointed it out, yeah, I saw it: "Republicans screwing up", but the overall tone didn't strike me as being overtly "partisan" because of his suggestion which was: just keep yer big mouth shut, no matter what side you're on...that way, if you mess up too, you won't have the added silliness to contend with I saw less "partisan" than you did, because throughout the thing, he points to both Repubs and Dems as having been stupid....my orientation, if you will, was more about the stupidity of speaking out against those who screw up and then screwing up yourself it has less to do with my dismissing your perspective than you think, Web. For me, I read this and saw how he was pointing to the arrogance of these politicians, one and all, and to their hypocrisy--one and all it just happens that the latest to get himself caught up in it was a Republican, but this by no means makes him any more of an "example" than the rest of these pigs--on either side of the aisle that was where I was coming from, and this is why I said it wasn't meant as "partisan" slap they are ALL a bunch of pigs....they belong to the "PIG PARTY"

The story is about the hypocrisy (apparently the sex stuff can be ignored or forgiven 'cause folks on the left do that too, that was the point of bringing up Clinton), and he's giving that entirely to the right. The left does largely go unnoticed, especially by the left. And no, believe it or not, I'm not spoiling for a fight, it's just articles like that that prove to me the liberal media bias that the left seems to have such trouble recognizing for what it is. So, the indiscretions of the left go "unnoticed" by the left wing which is why feminists were all over Hillary Clinton for not divorcing her husband, who'd clearly been a philanderer for years... what was all that "left" copy, from the New York Times about the Edwards' affair, after "The National Enquirer" broke it?....boy that stuff sold! And then the added commodity of the sick wife..... nope, the left, liberal media is entirely too soft on their own, not hard enough on the right if you want to call me on a double standard, that's okay. But, this was not my intent. I said so....the stupidity and the way the media ( all media) and its patrons get off on it...huh that is for another time, I guess

I remember the coverage of Clinton's sex capades. Let me ask you, who was more villified, Bill Clinton or Monica Lewenski? Or Paula Jones? Or Kenneth Starr for that matter. I believe your intent, Rosa, but it's not the same as the authors. For him, the sex stuff is no big deal. He doesn't even want his reps to be too chaste. It's why he gives us Clinton and Gary Hart. The true evil here is the hypocrisy and we all know that that's a market cornered by the right.
Think I'm being too defensive? Too sensitive? Perhaps, but look, you can't even concede Snil's (quite tongue in cheek) point about the right trying to claim the moral high ground and the left's "nearly anything goes" ethics.

that's all I saw this morning, was the left's pointing to the "right trying to claim the moral high ground", and yeah, superficially it works
but the problem is that it's usually said as a means toward pointing specifically AT the right only, on hypocrisy....
the answer to your question? my answer? easy. the pig...the pig was pilloried, followed closely by the weakling "hyporcrite" of a wife who thought she was "too good" to "stay home and bake cookies" but would look the other way when it came to her husband's daliances
