Hope the monitors don't delete this one.
The alarm went out to the departments all around: industrial plant up in flames. When the volunteer firefighters appeared on the scene, the chemical company president rushed to the chief and said
"All of our secret formulas are in the vault in the center of the plant! They must be saved! I will give $50,000 to the department that brings them out intact!"
But the roaring flames held the firefighters at bay and soon, more had to be called in, just to keep the perimeter safe. As the situation became more desperate for the company president, he shouted
"I'll give $100, 000 to the department that brings our formulas out intact!"
From a distance, an approaching truck was heard and soon, the rural Colonia El Rinconcito Firetruck came into view, its volunteer force composed entirely of viejos over 65
To the amazement of onlookers, this tiny firetruck zipped right past the larger, newer firetrucks and headed straight for the center of the inferno.
As the other firemen watched, the viejitos jumped off their truck and began to battle the blaze with energy and determination, despite the dangers. And within a short time, they had extinguished the blaze, thereby saving the secret formulas
The very grateful company president expressed his thanks, and joyfully announced that for such a super-human effort to save his company's formulas, he was increasing the reward amount to
$ 200,000. He insisted on thanking each of the old firemen personally
The local tv reporters rushed in and tried to capture this. They approached the 70 year-old captain, Tacho Garcia and said
"What bravery! And at your advanced ages! We have never seen such determination! What do you all plan to do with all that money?"
"Pues", answered Captain Garcia, "I think the first thing we're gonna do is fix the pi*che brakes on that chi*gada troca!"
