From their brand spanking new office in QATAR!!!!!!! the Talban leaders have sent a letter to Al-Queda and Hezzbollah leaders in Syria voicing their support in providing manpower and weapons in fighting the Assad regime in Syria. Okay now just last week Al-Queda killed a "Free Syria" moderate commander. Why? Because he wasn't following Sharia law as strictly as they felt he should have been. Oh by the way this "Free Syria" Commander was the same guy that ate a Syrian soldiers heart after he had killed him. Our leaders don't have a clue what to do or who to back. Obama is on a "get rid of tyrants" agenda no matter what the result may be. So now we have 3 terrorist groups (al-queda, Hezzbollah and now the Taliban) in competition with the moderate factions of "Free Syria". With the killing of the commander al-Queda has shown what direction they want to take Syria. Obama, McCain, Kerry, and all the fools that think we should back the resistence agaisnt Assad should back the frak away from backing these animals. If we back these animals they just may very well defeat Asssad and guess what form of government will be installed? Do you think these guys will stop there? Don't forget the moderate NATO nation of Turkey is right next door as is Iraq. The whole region would go up in flames because Obama and the rest of these bafoons are backing the wrong side.
So IMHO we need to just back off as fast as possible and let Russia and Iran back Assad and let them spend all of the money that it's going to take and let them kill as many members of al-Queda, Hezzbola and the Taliban as possible. In the long run they'd be doing us a huge favor.
It's saddening to think of the 100's of thousands caught in the cross fire between the "Free Syria" rebels, the 3 terrorist organizations attempting to oust Assad so they can run or as has been the case with Hezzbollah and the Taliban, ruin the country and the Assad regime attempting to stay in power.
I originally was all for helping the rebels. Especially when I saw Russia and Iran in bed with Assad. I then learned al-Queda was mixed in with the "Free Syria" rebels and I took a step back. Then Hezzbollah joined in with al-Queda and I saw what was going to happen. Now that the Taliban has joined in with al-Queda and Hezzbollah it's a no win situation for the U.S. Again, let Russia and Iran spend their money and lives and let them keep al-Queda, Hezzbollah and the Taliban out of Syria with not a single penny coming from the U.S. tax payer to the rebels fighting against Assad. It's a lose - lose situation for us and especially for the average person of Syria who simply want to live their lives. The last thing we want is for the Taliban, Hezzbollah and al-Queda to win in Syria. Obama and the bleeding hearts are picking the wrong side on this one.
