www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/24/jodie-laubenberg-texas-rape_n_3493220.htmlHow do people, so entrenched in their ignorance and dogma, get elected? My letter to this Texas Lawmaker: Dear Rep. Laubenberg, The lack of knowledge and compassion you displayed with your 'Rape Kit' comment, and subsequent vote is unfathomable. This is clear-cut evidence linking your policies, plans, and agendas to plain, old-fashioned, ignorance. Continuing to advocate for unsafe practices and procedures effecting women in Texas without knowing the difference between a rape kit and abortion is a travesty. This illustrates your lack of good sense and your lack of education on this topic BEFORE casting your vote. You can take pride in knowing your actions have made Texans look like a bunch of ignorant, uneducated, dogmatic, backwoods yahoos. Your constituents, the press, and your political enemies will not forget, or forgive your ignorance.

I ain't getting into a death penalty debate.
I'm all in favor of speeding up the process. If DNA and three people said you did it, you go to the express lane.
I have a high regard for life, so when someone brutally ends another life they forfeit theirs

I'm still trying to figure out how Wendy Davis is a "media hero" for promoting abortion of a 6 month gestation infant and fewer regulations and inspections of clinics than your dentist and manicurists maintain.
Oh, and PP is paying their Orange Shirt protestors $1300 - $2200 to "get in the faces" of the legislators and threaten them. I just got back from Austin - my hotel was 2 blocks off of the capital - I talked to a few of them and all but asked for a notarized statement. The couple I talked to were from New York and unemployed.

I'm of the feeling that if the infant can survive outside the womb, as short as 5 months and 2 weeks, but 6 months is a good figure where survivability is approaching 75%, the woman has to carry it to full term after the 6 month period. There's already laws on the books after 6 months unless the woman's health is in jeopardy. But even then the baby should be delivered cesarean section and given a chance to live. If a woman can't decide to have an abortion in 6 months sorry you have the baby and give it up for adoption if you still don't want it. I'm sure I'll get jumped on for my stance but I'm a big boy and can handle it. You see I'm pro-choice up to the beginning of 6 months. After that it's infanticide. Doing the research the youngest surviving premmies were born at 21 weeks and 5 days and 21 weeks and 6 days and those were the only 2 that survived under 22 weeks. Very few have survived even after 22 to 23 weeks. After 24 weeks the odds increase dramatically that the infant can survice outside the womb. Although. I do believe the Texas GOP demanding 20 weeks is REALLY pushing the limits of what science has proven as the limits of how long gestation is to produce a viable living being outside the womb. On another issue, if doctors want to perform abortions then they get hospital admitting privleges just like a heart surgeon, OB/GYN, etc...
