sometimes, I love the internet the differences between the two productions are evident, and of course one is only on audio, but both are great I remember the Catholic church banned this musical.....back then, this was considered "dirty dancing"

In HS I had a small role in our staging of this musical. Can't even remember what the role was for sure. Funny The Church banned this?" I was in a Catholic Seminar when we performed it

Oh yes, the Church here sure did...they went nuts, and way off the deep end when "The Last Temptation of Christ" hit....that one never stuck around, the official protest was so strong they're very liberal up north about some things, huh snil?
