I went to the Eastwood High school Stargaze and fund raiser. Not a lot of the public showed up but still fun was had by all.We had telescopes from 14 inches down to my little grab and go 60 mm telescope. It was a real joy for me to see Eastwood High School youth who were so excited about science and astronomy.More important willing to give of their time on a Friday night to help others. We had a few little ones show up just after it got dark and it was like they were walking through wonderland in among the big scopes. You could tell that the wheels were turning in their little heads.Just to cool! We look at the full Moon,Saturn,Star clusters and some very nice double star.We had one very nice bright green meteor and the kids even spotted a satellite. It was great to see our El Paso Sun City Astronomers out in force in support of these fine young people from the Eastwood High School Astronomy Club. I shot some video and as soon as possible I will get it posted. Regards Thomas the Flash

Thomas Glad it was a good noght. I would have taken Matthew, but I had been promising him all week a night at the race track. We went to the El Paso Speedway - loud and fun.
