I kinda feel the same way about Chris Brown as I do Michael Vick. His (obviously prepared) apology here sounds like he's apologizing for wrecking a car not for beating a woman black and blue.

if you do not support what he's done and/or you don't find his "apology" credible, you do not think he has changed, or worse, that this might result in similar behavior in the future
don't ping on his music, don't reward him with attention
you have the power to make him obscure

I know you're right Rosa. How's that saying go? There's no such thing as bad publicity (which I don't really believe). Actually I do kinda want to change what I said above. I can see a difference between Brown and Vick. I can sorta see someone losing his temper, you know, heat of the moment and all that versus repeated diliberate acts of cold hearted cruelty. Still, I cannot imagine what could p*ss someone off so bad that it becomes okay in his mind to punch a woman in the face. Further, even if I were to give Brown the benefit of the doubt. Say he flew off the handle this one time and he's really, really sorry, I would expect his apology to be a lot more heartfelt than what this vid shows.

I agree
frankly, hate to say it, but I don't know what difference it makes.
Both will benefit from the ongoing interest either way
