OK, I'm in the middle of writing my third part of the long winded health care series I started here and on NPT. I just opened my pay stub and found my health insurance went up $70.00 per pay period - ie $140 per month - a 21% increase with no improvement in service or care.
I am seriously considering dumping the insurance and becoming a client of Thomason - even if they insist on a payment plan it would have to be less than the $794 per month I am now paying in premiums for my wife and son's care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's it I am now officially a socialist!

Snill Sorry to hear this sad news. You will have to wait in long lines to see doctors at Thomason and if there is a problem you may wait months to see a doctor.Remember the battle in Washington is over who will control healthcare in the U.S. not about getting health care for the people. Me, I have left my health care in the hands of god and will let the big "G" figure it out. For you and your family it will just get harder to get health care as time goes along.I fear the day will come when ,for you and others,it will be a question of paying the bills, keeping the lights on or just pay for health care.Bad out come any way you cut it. Thomas I wait hours now even with an appointment and weeks to get the appointment, so no biggie. For me the issue is perscription costs
