The guy's taking all sorts of heat for doing what he said he would when he ran - control spending and taxes. Good for him. Whether folks love him or hate him, there's no doubting his sincerity.
He mentions something about the senate refusing to hold hearings on a state supreme court nominee. I had to look it up to see what he was talking about. Here's the story.
Gov. Chris Christie ousting state Supreme Court justice By Sarah Cassi May 03, 2010, 11:39AM New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s new plans for the state Supreme Court will be precedent setting for more than one reason.
Christie announced today he is removing Justice John E. Wallace and nominating Morris County lawyer Anne Murray Patterson to the seat.
Wallace, 68, is the only black justice on court and is the first member of the court not to be reappointed after an initial seven-year term. “Before and since becoming governor, I was unambiguous in my intention to bring balance and change to the Supreme Court. My selection today is not a commentary on Justice Wallace. It is a fulfillment of my promise to turn the court away from its history of using legal precedent to set social and tax policies in our state – a role which belongs squarely with the legislative and executive branches of state government,” Christie said in a news release. Christie’s announcement comes weeks before the end of Wallace’s first term on May 20. The Star-Ledger reports the decision is likely to please Republicans who want to overhaul the court, but inflame Democrats who control the Legislature.
Christie had to choose between reappointing Wallace until he turns 70 on March 13, 2012, or removing him this month from the court.

even when Christie blames corzine he does it with class.
We need to keep an eye on Christie.
I know it’s only a dream, but imagine Christie/Petraeus 2012
